First Aid/CPR/AED training (HeartSaver)

The American Heart Association’s (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course is designed for individuals with little to no medical background who need to learn how to respond to emergencies in their workplace, community, or at home. This course teaches essential first aid, CPR, and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Certification card earned after completion of course.

Family & Friends CPR course

  • Focus on Essential Skills: The course focuses on teaching lifesaving skills such as:
    • Adult Hands-Only CPR
    • Adult CPR with breaths
    • Child CPR with breaths
    • Adult and child AED use
    • Infant CPR
    • Relief of choking in adults, children, and infants
  • “Practice-While-Watching” Technique: The course utilizes the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique. This allows participants to practice on a CPR training manikin while watching demonstrations in the course video, maximizing hands-on experience.
  • Target Audience: Family & Friends CPR is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life. It is not appropriate for healthcare providers.
